I actually had the wire inside my door already for the heated part of the mirrors. I've had no problems with the directional lenses falling off as someone had mentioned before. The mirrors are good quality glass. They're actually kind of nice. If I had a wish, it would be that the directional lights were a bit brighter. They're kind of dim. I don't even think they're LEDs but it really isn't a make or break thing. I would buy these mirrors again if I needed to.
